My very first painting. Not counting whatever I made in school over a decade ago. This was interesting. It is based on a scene from the book Faerie Tale, written by Raymond E. Feist. I'm sure I didn't get the details right, as it's been well over a year since I've read it, and I didn't have the book with me. (I painted this at my aunt's). I just tried to capture the atmosphere of the faerie forest. It's a bit hard to see, but there's gold and metallic blue and magenta in there, for a sparkly effect. (It's so gay, really. But hey, we ARE talking about faeries here ;)
