I did this for a contest for a Dutch magazine. The subject was UFO's, iirc. So I made a freaky UFO, and composited over a digital photo I had from the meadows behind our house. Since digital photography wasn't really very sophisticated back then (read: 1 megapixel or something), I had to blur the UFO a bit as well to make it fit in.
