About this picture...
This mainly was a texture experiment. Tho, I really like large, weird rooms with some dust floating around and stuff. I had intended plants to be in here as well. But I didn't have the expertise or tools to create those.
Anyway, as for the texture thing, I made the floor of distinct opacity, bump, gloss, specular and reflection maps. Certain areas should be more worn down than others, etc. When I first rendered the floor, I was simply amazed at how good it looked. (Tho, it's not that special anymore, nowadays ;)
